Pledis Entertainment's Visual Director Resigns, Gets Bombarded With Malicious Comments

The most recent visual director at Pledis Entertainment recently posted on their social media account to announce their resignment, and with that announcement came an additional plea.

They shared that they had to resign after two years of working for the entertainment company, and that they plan to rest because they’re exhausted from the work. They seem to have a good relationship with their former co-workers at Pledis, and plan to work as a freelancer for the time being.

Caption: “I arrived in the United States after resigning from Pledis after two years of working there.

Because I’m physically and mentally tired, I’ll take a break and plan to work as a freelancer.

Thank you to all the staff, teams, and members who worked with me for the past 2 years, I’ll support you <3

I’m unemployed~~!!”

However, they also included a footnote on their post that explained what their position was at the company, and that they seemingly received unfair harassment and malicious comments from netizens because of misunderstandings about their work.

Caption: “I am a creator who does both the planning and creation of the visuals. I’m not involved with the members’ units or content. I didn’t have the time or energy to do that. So please stop sending me unpleasant comments or swears in my DMs or comments every day. This is a warning.”

Following this post, others voiced their support for the former employee and irritation towards fans who go so far to harass employees who are just doing their job.
