Police Begin Pre-Booking Investigation For Bodyguards Involved In Byeon Woo Seok’s “Airport” Controversy
The police officially started the pre-booking investigation for the bodyguards who caused controversy at the airport during Byeon Woo Seok’s departure.
The Incheon International Airport Police Department announced on July 16 that they will investigate the bodyguards suspected of violating criminal law for obstruction of business, coercion, and assault.
On July 12, bodyguards from a private company were caught up in a controversy at the airport as they showed excessive behavior during Byeon’s departure to Hong Kong for his Asia Fan Meeting tour.
Byeon Woo Seok’s Team Gets Criticized For “Over-The-Top” Security
An online video revealed Byeon’s security guard using a flashlight at civilians to prevent them from filming. The video went viral online, with many criticizing the security team’s actions.
The security team CEO quickly admitted that “it was the security guard’s fault for having shone the flashlight” and “wished to deeply apologize for making civilians uncomfortable.”
Most recently, although Byeon Woo Seok’s agency issued an official apology online, they still received criticism from netizens.
On the other hand, Byeon is set to return to Korea after finishing activities in Hong Kong today.
