On August 7, media outlets reported that BTS‘s Suga is being investigated by the police for operating an electric scooter after drinking.

On August 6, Suga fell outside the Nine One Hannam luxury complex in Hannam-dong from the electric scooter he had been driving while intoxicated. Police patrolling nearby brought him to a nearby police station. There Suga’s breathalyzer test results revealed that he had exceeded the legal blood alcohol level of 0.03%.
However, many netizens and fans were confused as to whether it was an electric scooter or a kickboard, as media outlets used both in news articles. Looking at photos, an electric kickboard and electric scooter are two very different things.

In an updated news article, the police clarified that it was a an electric scooter with a seat.
It was a model with a saddle. It would be more appropriate to describe it as an electric scooter.
