Police Reportedly Set To Begin Investigations About Yang Hyun Suk, YG Responds
Seoul Central District Prosecutors have begun their investigation on Seungri and Jung Joon Young after the National People’s Rights Commission formally requested a thorough investigation in their connection to filming and sharing illegal sex cam footages, cohesion with the police, and more.
Three head detectives are currently in charge of investigating the case, and they also received a civil commission’s request to investigate Yang Hyun Suk, CEO of YG Entertainment, and Lee Dong Hyung, CEO of MAKEUS Entertainment.
After reviewing the files, the detective team reportedly agreed on the need to investigate Yang Hyun Suk for a possible connection to the case. Many netizens have suspected that he evaded taxes by dealing in businesses with Seungri and his controversial colleagues.
Within minutes of the published reports, Yang Hyun Suk replied that he has not received any official notice for investigations.
“I have not received a special tax investigation notice. Someone said something about it in a discussion forum, and it appears it was taken as it was true. I have regularly been investigated by tax auditors, but a special tax investigation is nothing but a rumor.”
