Popular Influencer And DJ Kills Man In DUI Accident
A popular DJ in her 20s has been booked for killing a deliveryman in a DUI accident.
On February 5, it was reported that a woman in her 20s, who is a popular DJ in both China and Korea, had killed a deliveryman in a DUI accident. The accident is said to have occurred at 4:30 AM in the Nonhyeon-Dong neighborhood of Gangnam.
According to reports, the DJ was driving after drinking. The deliveryman is said to be a 50-year-old man; he was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Reports state the DJ’s blood alcohol level was high enough for her driver’s license to be revoked. According to witnesses, the DJ failed to call first responders immediately after the accident and instead sat with her dog.
Early this morning, I think a deliveryman died in front of my home. There was an accident in front of Hotel Eliana. A woman in her 20s drove drunk. After the accident, she was sitting with her dog and didn’t cooperate with police. When police tried to separate her from her dog, she cried and asked to call her mother. After several minutes of struggling, police were able to get her in handcuffs.

According to Chosun Ilbo, the news outlet spoke with the DJ’s mother, who claimed that her daughter didn’t mean to kill the victim.
The woman who had caused the accident is a DJ who is signed to a label. When we called her, her mother picked up. Her mother told us while crying on the phone that her daughter didn’t mean to (cause the accident) and stated that news reports weren’t covering her daughter favorably.
