Popular Disbanded Girl Group Responds To 10th Debut Anniversary Reunion Rumors
JTBC reported that K-Pop girl group Lovelyz will allegedly reunite to release a new song to celebrate the group’s 10th debut anniversary.
They stated that they were working with the goal of releasing the new song in November, and planned to hold a tour for an even more memorable anniversary.
With the report, a Lovelyz representative released a statement.
There has been no talk about it yet. We are discussing it with our agency.
The group previously appeared on MBC’s Hangout With Yoo and expressed their desire for a reunion. Producer Yoon Sang also sent a video message, hoping to meet them soon in the recording studio.
Not long after, a photo of Lovelyz and Woollim Entertainment’s CEO Lee Jung Yeop was posted, raising expectations for a possible reunion.
Meanwhile, Woollim Entertainment announced the group’s disbandment in 2021. They revealed that after much discussion, the members decided to go their own ways.
