Popular HYBE Group Forced To Stop Posting On TikTok Following US Ban
The TikTok ban in the United States has been at the forefront of social media discourse for days now, but no one anticipated how much it would impact a certain HYBE group.
KATSEYE, the much-loved global girl group launched by HYBE in collaboration with GEFFEN Records, has announced that they will no longer be active on TikTok due to the restrictions in the U.S.
The group shared the news through their official TikTok account a while before the ban started and expressed gratitude to their fans (known as EYEKONS) for the support they’ve shown on TikTok.

KATSEYE has frequently gone viral on TikTok thanks to their unique and entertaining content, so the ban has left both fans and members disappointed. Many fans have taken to social media to explain why the group can’t circumvent the ban, despite being a globally managed act. Since the members reside in California, they’re directly affected by the legislation. Fans clarified that alternative measures, like using a VPN or posting from overseas, aren’t viable due to the account’s restrictions.
