Popular Idol Gains Attention For His Unedited Visuals Despite Having A Stye
While it might seem like idols somehow manage to always have perfect skin and no blemishes, this is not reality. In recent years, many idols have been more open about their skincare issues and other concerns, becoming even more relatable to fans.
Recently, a popular idol went viral for his visuals, even though he shared that he had a stye.
Summer Sonic 2024 took place in Tokyo and Osaka on August 17 and 18 and hosted various performers.
Included in the line-up were multiple Korean acts, including NCT DREAM.
Ahead of their performance, Jeno shared several messages on Dear U. Bubble, including an unexpected message about his health. The idol shared that he had a stye, earning sympathy from fans.

A stye is a tender bump that is the result of a clogged oil gland on the eyelid or eyelash line and is usually very painful. Idols with styes will often wear eyepatches to cover them while promoting and performing.
Many expected Jeno to do the same, but were surprised when the idol appeared at the festival with no eye covering.
Looking at up-close photos from both days of performances, without knowing he had a stye, it would be almost completely undetectable. Many fans shared unedited preview images, showing off his gorgeous visuals.
