The fitness influencer world has been struck with fried as the passing of well-known Korean YouTuber and bodybuilder Park Seung Hyun has been confirmed. At just 35 years old, his sudden death has left fans and the fitness community in mourning.
On January 6, Park’s older brother announced the heartbreaking news through Park’s social media accounts and YouTube community page. He shared that Park had passed away on January 5 at 3:51 PM due to health-related issues. He further mentioned that the family would not be holding a public funeral service out of respect for their parents’ overwhelming grief. Instead, he requested that people remember Park in their thoughts and prayers.

At 3:51 PM on January 5, 2025, my younger brother Seung Hyun passed away due to health reasons and went to heaven.
Our parents are deeply heartbroken, so we will not be receiving visitors at the funeral hall. We ask you to pray for the deceased’s peace as a gesture of condolence.

With a YouTube channel boasting 830,000 subscribers, he gained popularity for his engaging fitness content and bodybuilding journey. Park had been open about his struggles in the past. In 2019, he revealed that he had voluntarily reported himself for involvement in illegal substance use and distribution. This led to a suspended indictment.
