Police are on alert after President Yoon Seok Yeol received death threats.
On August 16, it was reported that police were investigating death threats sent to President Yoon Seok Yeol.
According to reports, police received a report that there were death threats targeting the President on the controversial online community DC Inside.
Recently, the online community has become a hotbed for death threats which has renewed calls for the site to be shut down.
Police stated that they had searched the President’s surrounding for threats but did not find any and were investigating the source of the threat.
