In October, NewJeans’ Hanni appeared at an audit to speak on workplace bullying.
It was recently announced that a National Assembly member proposed the bill dubbed “NewJeans Hanni Law,” which looks at preventing workplace harassment, especially for workers who are under special employment contracts. The member who raised it mentioned Hanni’s name during the proposal.
Yet, many fans shared their concerns because the alleged proposal is being linked to Hanni’s name. Many thought her “workplace bullying” claim was not seen as harassment, especially compared to what many idols have gone through in the past. In particular, even those criticizing the decision believe it is a good idea, but not the way the politicians are going about it.
