“Queendom 2” Competitors Brave Girls, LOONA, VIVIZ, And WJSN Reveal The Charms That Make Them Strong Competitors
Mnet has released Hyolyn and Kep1er’s videos.
Girl group fans have been looking forward to Queendom 2 which is set to air soon. Queendom 2 is a survival show where some of the top girl groups compete against each other in various challenges.
With Girls’ Generation Taeyeon as the MC for the second season and an incredible lineup of Brave Girls, HYOLYN, Kep1er, LOONA, VIVIZ, and WJSN (also known as Cosmic Girls), fans couldn’t be more excited to see what the show has in store.
In order to help promote the show, which is scheduled to start airing on March 31st, Mnet has released videos of four of the competitors expressing their thoughts of appearing on the show.
The short interviews focused primarily on each group’s thoughts about meeting competitors.
As well as giving each group a chance to explain their personal charms that will help them become the winner of the show.
Brave Girls’ Eunji focuses on an interesting charm that distinguishes them as a group. She believes that Brave Girls feels “familiar.” That they have charms like a “neighbor.”
And Minyoung adds that because of that, Brave Girls are “the group, which you’ll never get tired of.”
Minyoung also promises that because Brave Girls has not had a lot of opportunities to show off their charms, they will keep surprising fans with new sides of themselves.
LOONA’s Olivia Hye is confident in expressing LOONA’s charm as having a “Beast-like Aspect.”
Olivia Hye explains that “among other girl bands,” LOONA is unique because of the different concepts they’re willing to make their own.
And Haseul also offers that all the members are confident in their performance abilities since LOONA is so well regarded for their impressive performances.
Because they have so many talented members, Haseul says that LOONA is definitely confident going into Queendom 2.
VIVIZ’s SinB and Umji both express that the strong point of their team is that they have so many years of experience. SinB describes VIVIZ as having “the passion as a rookie and the skills as the 8-year [experienced]” idols.
And Umji adds that they will show off their teamwork which they’ve been perfecting for ten years.
Umji also believes that VIVIZ’s duality, being cool onstage and cute offstage, is definitely one of their charms.
WJSN’s EXY is confident in WJSN’s ability to pull off “many different concepts.”
EXY believes WJSN is also both great in performing and has “the best balance among [their] members.” And that that synergy will give them an edge in performances.
Although Mnet has yet to release similar videos of HYOLYN and Kep1er, their videos are sure only to generate more excitement when they are released.
