“You Quiz On The Block” Guest Touches Viewers With His Double Identity As Plastic Surgeon And Tattooist
The most recent episode of You Quiz on the Block is touching the hearts of viewers with their very special guest.
This week’s episode featured a guest who has been living his life doing two very different careers. The show’s guest, Jo Myung Shin is a plastic surgeon by day and a tattoo artist by night. He first shared the touching stories behind his decision to go into the tattoo industry.
I wanted to pay my respects to the Korean firefighters in some way and so one day, I decided that I was going to find something. Starting in 2019, I decided to start tattooing firefighters for free.

The plastic surgeon and tattoo artist then shared what types of tattoos he does for firefighters.
Firefighters get a lot of burns and scars so I do a lot of tattoos that cover those up.

Jo Myung Shin’s good deeds don’t end there, as he revealed the other types of tattoos that he does for elderly people.
I do missing prevention tattoos for those with Alzheimer’s. I tattoo their sons’ or daughters’ phone numbers and social security numbers onto their wrists.

As the discussion of Jo Myung Shin’s work continued, Jo Se Ho asked Yoo Jae Suk if he’d ever consider getting a tattoo himself.

While Yoo Jae Suk shared that he would never get one, if he were to choose, it would have something to do with his family.
If I ever did get one, it would be my family’s names.

He took it a step further and joked around by saying he could get his wife’s face tattooed on his chest.
On one side is my wife’s and the other side is my face so they can kiss (when I flex).
