Rapper Lee Young Ji Sends A Message To Her “Haters” In An Unexpected Post
Rapper and TV personality Lee Young Ji left an unexpected message for her haters who left negative comments.
On May 10, Lee Young Ji posted an Instagram story that addressed the people who left her hate comments. She wished for them to find happiness so that they are able to accept the different types of people in the world.
I hope that you find the world so beautiful that you don’t feel weirdness towards anyone, no matter who they are or how they live, and that you accept and knowledge their freedom as it is.
— Lee Young Ji
She then cast a “spell” on them wishing them to be happy and gave sincere advice.
Eat lots of delicious food, sleep comfortably on your favorite pillow, and become happier! Abracadabra!
— Lee Young Ji
And to the kids who are leaving weird comments, I sincerely hope you become happier.
I hope that you find the world so beautiful that you don’t feel weirdness towards anyone, no matter who they are or how they live, and that you accept and knowledge their freedom as it is.
Is it because we don’t have enough happiness that we do things like this? Eat lots of delicious food, sleep comfortably on your favorite pillow, and become happier! Abracadabra!
— Lee Young Ji
Instead of reacting rashly out of anger, the rapper wished her haters happiness, stating that the lack of happiness may cause people to do things like leave hate comments.
Lee Young Ji first gained attention for her appearance on Mnet‘s High School Rapper 3 in 2019, where she won first place. More recently, she auditioned for and won first place on Mnet’s 11th season of the rapping audition program Show Me The Money.
Lee Young Ji also has her own YouTube talk show My Alcohol Diary (also known as No Prepare), a show with the concept that she did not prepare at all for her celebrity guests who come to her house to drink alcohol and talk. She has interviewed celebrities such as BTS‘s Jin, BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo, IVE‘s An Yujin, SEVENTEEN‘s DK and Joshua, and many more.
She has received criticism in the past for using the N-word in the past while rehearsing American rapper Tyga‘s “Ayy Macarena,” which samples Los Del Rio‘s famous hit “Macarena.” On Mnet‘s audition program Good Girl, Lee Young Ji performed this song with QUEEN WA$ABII and although they substituted the N-word with the word “ninja” for the actual performance, the rehearsal video showed that she said the N-word and it wasn’t edited out.
