RBW issues statement on Mamamoo’s car accident
Popular girl group MAMAMOO was recently involved in a car accident while traveling to a scheduled event.
Although it was later revealed that the crash was minor and that none of the members suffered any significant injuries, many fans have expressed their concern for the girls’ safety. After the initial incident was reported, some fans were worried because the group’s agency Rainbow Bridge World did not immediately release a statement.
However, the company soon followed-up with an official statement for fans and press regarding the incident:
“Hello this is Rainbow Bridge World. We are sorry that our feedback has been slow and that it has caused worry and conjectures to grow. The tardiness stems from the fact that we decided it would be better to check all the facts first and relay the correct message to everyone.
At around 6:40 PM, while on their way to “The 49th Young Dong Korean Traditional Music Festival” they experienced a small collision.
Although it was minor, we felt it was best to take the girls to get checked at a hospital first. They were all notified that they were still very healthy, but the hospital visit caused a delay, which led to their absence from the event.
The members aren’t injured to the extent that the fans are worried about. We are sorry to the crowd and Moomoos for causing worry and apologize that we were not able to fulfill our schedule.”
After being reassured by MAMAMOO’s agency, fans felt relieved that the girls are healthy and wished all the members a good night’s rest.
