Kim Soo Hyun, the renowned actor, has broken his silence. On March 31, 2025, he held a press conference to discuss the scandal involving his relationship with the late Kim Sae Ron. He faced accusations of dating her before she was of legal age. While his last statement insisted that their romance only started after she became an adult, evidence from Kim Sae Ron’s mourning family suggests otherwise.
Kim Soo Hyun broke down in tears during the press conference. Although he admitted to dating Kim Sae Ron for a year, he denied dating her when she was a minor. It was also reported that Kim Soo Hyun’s legal representatives would be filing a ₩12.0 billion KRW (about $8.16 million USD) lawsuit against the bereaved.
