Red Velvet Becomes The Second Girl Group In History To Achieve 3 Triple Crowns For A Comeback

Red Velvet are queens!

On January 28, KBS announced the results of the January 24 episode of KBS’s Music Bank (that did not air due to the Lunar New Year holidays). In the announcement, KBS revealed that Red Velvet had secured their 9th win for “Psycho” on Music Bank!

This is the third time it has won on the broadcasting channel, thereby earning a triple crown on Music Bank! This triple crown follows 2 previous ones on Music Core and Inkigayo, making them the 2nd girl group (after Apink) and the 5th K-Pop group overall in history to secure 3 triple crowns on 3 major broadcasting channels!

Fans have been elated at the news, and are extremely proud of the girls!

On January 28, “Psycho” also crossed 65 million views on YouTube, making it their fastest MV to achieve this feat (it reached the milestone in 1 month and 5 days).
