Red Velvet Irene’s Recent Gesture Towards Fans Goes Viral Proving her True Personality
Red Velvet’s Irene has once again become the center of attention thanks to her seemingly never-ending love for her fans.
The SM Entertainment star warmed not only her fans but also most Korean netizens’ hearts with a recent gesture.
As part of her solo preparation promotions, Irene decided to release 6 special photocards with messages on the back meant to give fans courage. Irene is one of the most popular K-Pop idols when it comes to photocard collection, so the gesture was already sweet when she decided to give the photocards out at SM’s Kwangya store in Korea… for free!

Irene’s ‘courage’ photocard messages 😆

Due to her popularity, the store was soon filled with thousands of fans, but also scalpers — who wanted to get the photocards and sell them for higher prices due to their rarity.
Videos and photos from the store showed the chaos caused by the sheer amount of people there.

Soon after the photocards were all given away, SM’s Kwangya store announced that the event was over. Many were left disappointed that they couldn’t get their hands on one of the photocards.
However, Irene once again came to the rescue with yet another sweet gesture. She took to Bubble to announce that after talking with the company she was able to convince them to post the photocards online.
Thanks to Irene's request, SM will be uploading the original photos of the courage photocards tonight at 8pm KST for those who weren't able to receive them 🥹🩷 #IRENE #아이린 #RedVelvet @RVsmtown https://t.co/EYZv0YKuqj

So, the official Red Velvet X (formerly Twitter) account later shared a Google Drive link to all the photocards she had released. But that wasn’t all.
The exact size of the photos and the special back cover were also included in the link. This way, fans can easily get them printed themselves, whether they’re in Korea or any other country.
irene sharing the original files of her photocards and even giving the exact measurements and margin details for the fans so now scalpers have an irene photocard lying around somewhere in their house because they cant sell it lol https://t.co/SDHuGO6C4w pic.twitter.com/mF4Yz39A43
