Red Velvet’s Seulgi Was Teased By Boys Often As A Kid—Here’s What They Did To Her
Red Velvet‘s Seulgi recently guested on Showterview With Sunmi where she answered a fan’s marriage proposal, opened up about what her friendship with the “Gashina” singer meant to her, and talked about her solo debut with the title track, “28 Reasons.”
When introducing her song, she shared that the name was taken from the idea of a person wanting to drive her significant other crazy. She compared it to the way children express their feelings.
It’s called ’28 Reasons.’ You know, when you’re in love with someone, as much as you care about them, you also wanna mess with them as a kid. That’s the way kids express their feelings. I’m twenty-eight now. I have 28 reasons why I love you and wanna mess with you.

“But it’s a little hardcore,” she admitted. Why? Because it starts with the shocking line, “I kiss your brother.”
Upon hearing that, Sunmi asked, “Did you get messed with by boys as a kid?” And she confirmed it! “A lot,” she admitted with a laugh.
The Red Velvet member went on to explain that she had many friends as a child. They would play practical jokes on her, and she still recalls how they would tug on her hair.
Well, I had a lot of friends, so I played with my friends a lot. And some boys played some practical jokes. You know how they tug your hair?
