On the second day, Red Velvet‘s Wendy made an unexpected appearance to sing their duet, “Heart on the Window.”

While they practiced “social distancing” on stage, their wholesome interactions made ARMYs’ hearts flutter, as Jin notably got shy from Wendy’s comments. She knew he was quite introverted, so she promised she would “reach out” to him first next time.

Jin previously revealed how he initiated a collaboration with Wendy for “Heart on the Window.” He called her, asking if he even knew who he was.

Now, Wendy is proving she is a woman of her word by “reaching out first” this time. She liked Jin’s recent Instagram post featuring her.

She also spoke about her collaboration with Jin on the radio after a listener revealed they had attended the showcase. Wendy admitted she was nervous to perform in front of so many ARMYs, but she was grateful for their love and support. She also sent a special message to Jin, thanking him for the “honor.”

Thank you for that! Honestly, I wasn’t that nervous about singing at the showcase itself. But once I put in the in-ear monitors and listened to the entire interview, I started to feel so nervous. I was really shaking. And singing in front of so many ARMYs made me nervous, but I’m incredibly grateful for all the support and love you showed. Also, Jin-ssi’s ‘Happy’ album is really great, and I’m so thankful to have been included on the album. It was such an honor to be part of it so thank you again. Jin-ssi, thank you so much. Thank you, sunbae-nim. Please give lots of love and support. Fighting!

— Wendy
