Remember The Baby Sister From “Reply 1988”? She’s Now A Middle Schooler

She’s grown up so much!

Actress Kim Seol, who made her name known as Jinjoo in Reply 1988, has grown up in front of our eyes and now is a middle school student.

If you watched Reply 1988, you’ll remember the five students of Ssangmun-dong, who all grew up as friends.

You may also remember the antics of their family members, from Kim Sung Kyun‘s repeated failed attempts at jokes, Choi Moo Sung‘s stoic nature, or Ryu Hye Young‘s seemingly cold but caring attitude.

But one very, very important family member in this show was Jinjoo, Sung Sunwoo‘s (played by Go Kyung Po) younger sister.

She was the focus of many thanks to her uncaring attitude for what is happening around her, only focusing on her snacks.

In fact, many of her clips became memes that were spread on community sites.

Since she was born in 2011, she is turning 12 this year — on March 18, in fact. This means she is now starting middle school! She uploaded her middle school identification photo on her personal Instagram account.

While she has not acted much since Reply 1988, she has made a few appearances. She played a role in the 2017 Korean-Turkish movie Ayla as well as the musical film From Today’s Choir.

Instead, she has been posting updates on her personal life and a bit about her older brother, too.
