Recently, Jennie has been hit with waves of criticism that have been going viral.

Amid the discourse on her “lazy” performance skills, a clip from a recent interview has led to Jennie being criticized more. In the interview with Zane Lowe, Jennie was speaking about her trainee days, and the topic of leadership was alluding to her.

The short clip quickly sparked huge reactions, with many sending malicious hate and criticism towards Jennie.

Yet, amid the sudden hate train towards Jennie, netizens shared the full clip and defended the idol, explaining that it was taken out of context and that there seems to be a wave of unexpected and unwarranted criticism towards her for no reason. Many also pointed out that Jennie was someone who trained for a long time, so it was obvious she would be a mentor to the younger trainees.
