The Shocking Size Difference Between RIIZE’s Anton And Red Velvet’s Irene Drops Jaws
It’s no secret that the majority of the members of RIIZE are on the tall side. With an average height of 180cm (5’11”), the rookie boy group tends to tower over many other idols, even those who are considerably older than them.
And maknae Anton, at 20 years old, is the second-tallest of the group at 184cm (6’0.5″). He comes second only to Sungchan, who is about 186cm (6’1″).
On the other hand, Red Velvet, who are RIIZE’s seniors in SM Entertainment by almost a decade in terms of debut dates, are on the fairly short side overall. Apart from Joy, who’s a bit on the taller side, the rest of the members are all about 161cm (5’3″) or shorter. It can be easy to forget, given how much energy and charisma they bring to the stage! And Irene is one of the shortest members at 158cm (5’2″).
It’s one thing to hear that Red Velvet’s oldest member Irene and RIIZE’s youngest member Anton have a 26cm (10″) height difference along with their 13-year age difference, but it’s another thing to see how they actually look standing side by side!
Both SM idols are stunning, but Anton absolutely towers over Irene. And given that the girl group member still looks so young, it would be easy to believe they’re pretty siblings who are close in age with Anton being a giant older brother to the petite Irene.
