“So Defeated” — RIIZE’s Arrival In Korea Leaves Fans Distraught
It was recently announced that Seunghan would depart from RIIZE.
This news came just two days after it was announced that Seunghan would resume schedules, and reactions to the news have varied. In particular, international fans have leveled their anger at SM Entertainment for not protecting the idol.
When the announcement was made, RIIZE was en route from Madrid following their KBS Music Bank Tour performance. The group was spotted just after the announcement during a connection, and fans were saddened by fan taken photos of the members.
Fans Heartbroken By RIIZE’s Appearances In Airport Photos Following Seunghan’s Departure
This has only intensified following their arrival in Korea.
Before they landed in Korea, media outlets’ live streams showed a crowd of fans waiting for them. With the group’s first appearance, security seemed more intense than usual, with many guards keeping fans a distance from the group.
The members all wore face masks, with multiple members wearing hats pulled low over their eyes. When being greeted by the media, the members responded, however briefly, as they quickly exited.
The group’s exit route from the airport also seemed to be different from other arrivals, going into a parking garage rather than outside.
Fan taken photos gave a better look RIIZE, and many fans felt the members looked sad or even as though they had possibly been crying.
Fans commented on how the arrival felt somber, reflecting on Seunghan’s departure and how the members might be feeling in the aftermath.
