It’s surprisingly early for RIIZE to go on an international tour of this size, considering that they only debuted a half-year ago in September 2023. Additionally, they’ve only released four post-debut songs at this time — “Memories”, “Get a Guitar”, “Talk Saxy”, and “Love 119” — which has left fans confused about what they’ll fill their concert time with.
The group is planning on having a comeback with their first mini-album in the second quarter of 2024, which likely means that they will have a couple more songs to add to their setlist by the time the tour starts. And given that this is a “fan-con” tour, a lot of their time on-stage will likely be interacting with fans such as playing games and answering questions.
However, netizens are still unsure whether going on tour this early on in their career is a good idea for RIIZE. On a forum post discussing the topic, many people expressed uncertainty for the group’s future success, as well as concern for the health of the members. The venues chosen for the tour are also quite large, leading to speculation that they might have trouble filling up all of the seats.
However, not all of the comments left by netizens are critical. Some have stated that the tour itself seems to have a pretty doable and practical schedule, with plenty of time to take breaks in between and not all that much traveling.
How do you feel about RIIZE going on tour only a half-year since they debuted?
