RIIZE Releases A Teaser For Their Upcoming Lightstick, And Fans Can’t Take It Seriously

Just a little while ago, SM Entertainment revealed a teaser of the lightstick design for RIIZE, which is set to be released in April. And while getting a lightstick for a K-Pop group is usually an exciting and highly anticipated event, the reaction to what has been revealed so far has been less than stellar.

The teaser image, shared on RIIZE’s Twitter account, shows a cartoon-style hand with the thumb and finger pointer out while the other three fingers are curled in, making a sort of upside-down “7” shape.

The design is sillier and more clunky than most fans probably expected, especially compared to some other recent lightsticks that have been released for new K-Pop groups.

The comments on the Twitter post are pretty brutal, but we can’t deny some of the comparisons that fans are making!
