Seunghan Is “Disrespectfully” Written Out Of RIIZE’s Webtoon Series, Angering Fans
Fans of RIIZE are angry with SM Entertainment over how Seunghan was “erased” from the group’s webtoon.
Seunghan is currently on an indefinite hiatus after a series of cyber attacks against Seunghan, including leaked content from the artist’s private life, such as alleged smoking, dating, and private Instagram live broadcasts.
The hiatus has been ongoing since November 2023, and fans have remained hopeful the idol will resume activities soon, taking hints from the other members of this.
Fans Are Hopeful For Seunghan’s Return After New RIIZE Videos
However, the most recent update to the group’s webtoon has angered fans all over again.
Last year, SM Entertainment announced that webtoons based on NCT and RIIZE would be released, the latter being named “Rise & Realize.”
The second season of the webcomic was released on January 13. A section of the new story mentioned “an immense change” caused by a member falling ill and no longer being an active part of the group.
It continued, saying that the other members had to work harder to fill the void and “carry the extra weight,” left behind by Seunghan.
One day, as we were filled with anticipation for the next single promotion, the team faced an immense change.
One of the members started feeling unwell, and so he could no longer be active as a part of the team.
Amid the confusion, the remaining members had to accept what had happened as quickly as possible.
And filling the void meant working harder. It meant the team had to push themselves, for the sake of each other, and carry the extra weight that had been shared among them.

The Korean does use the phrase “컨디션 난조,” which literally translates to “poor condition,” but the phrase itself is almost exclusively used to explain someone feeling unwell health-wise.
Seunghan was a victim of his privacy being invaded and this manner of removing him from the novel angered fans.

can’t issue a statement about seunghan’s recent status or give updates regarding the legal matters but can manage to release a new season of a fucking webtoon that disrespects him by making it seem like he’s a burden to the other members?? you’re supposed to protect him??

they're using seunghan's riize's and our pain in a webtoon.. we're fighting every day for him ot7 and at least just a little update even 6 members trying to show their support for him in the way they can and all sm can do is this shit i'm so mad
