Fans Chanting “RIIZE Is Seven” At Mexican Fancon Goes Viral
This month, RIIZE began their first international fancon tour, RIIZING DAY. Kicking off the tour with a two-day event in Seoul, the members had their most recent stop in Mexico City on May 15 with a very excited, enthusiastic crowd.
With Seunghan on his ongoing hiatus with an uncertain future with the group, of course, the six active members are the ones embarking on this tour. However, that hasn’t kept many fans from including Seunghan in other ways.
At one point during the Mexico City stop, the audience began chanting “RIIZE is seven”, a sentiment that has been going around for some time now as fans demand Seunghan’s return to the group. The clip has gone viral, with over 1.5 million views at this time.

Many are hoping that this might at least finally convince SM Entertainment to give some kind of announcement regarding Seunghan’s future activities, since it’s still unknown at this point whether he’ll be rejoining or removed from RIIZE. The overall reaction from international fans seems to be a positive one, with a lot of people thanking Mexican fans for such a passionate display.

However, Korean netizens seem to be reacting much differently. A lot of them seem to be annoyed by the international fan behavior, seeing it as disrespectful to the six members who were there.
