SM Entertainment Director In Charge Of RIIZE Gives Savage Response To Hateful Comment Towards The Group; Netizens React

He wasn’t having it!

Though RIIZESM Entertainment‘s upcoming boy group, hasn’t debuted yet, several of the members have already been caught up in “scandals” of varying degrees. From criticism of their vocal abilities to plastic surgery accusations and “unfavorable” past images of the members coming to light, it seems like every day there has been some new controversy that RIIZE has faced.

At this time, though, it still seems like their debut, set for September 4, is planned to go on as normal. Unfortunately, it seems to have become increasingly common for K-Pop idols to deal with (often overblown) scandals before they even debut, but SM Entertainment doesn’t appear to be concerned with any of the rumors that have come up about RIIZE’s members yet.

In fact, if anything, it looks like they’re coming to their trainees’ defense!

Recently, SM Entertainment announced they would be dividing up their staff members into five different “centers”, each of which would be in charge of different K-Pop artists. Center 5, led by directors Kim Hyeong Guk and Lee Sang Min, are responsible for Super JuniorEXO, and RIIZE.

Sang Min has been posting proudly on Instagram about RIIZE in the days leading up to their debut.

However, not everyone commenting on his posts about RIIZE have shown the same support for the new K-Pop group. And it seems that Sang Min might have reached his limit when it comes to hateful comments.

On his post about the group’s “Siren” performance video, someone left a comment about the scandals that the members have been facing, saying that they “looked forward to” the next member to “screw up”.

Sang Min responded to the comment in a similar fashion.

Comment: From Sohee to Seunghan… I can’t wait for the next member to screw up ^_^

Director Sang Min: Aigoo, I hope your life gets screwed up

While the comment might be deemed unprofessional by some, when it was shared on an online forum post, most of the people sharing their reactions showed support for Sang Min and even cheered on his defense of RIIZE.

It seems like Sang Min is taking his role of looking after RIIZE seriously!
