RIIZE Fans Rejoice As Sohee Is Finally Given A "Normal" Hairstyle

It seems like there’s always at least one member of a new K-Pop group that, when they first debut, is given an unconventional, eye-catching, or questionable hairstyle. While this can help to get groups from lesser-known labels attention, sometimes it comes at the cost of an idol having an unflattering style for a time.

When RIIZE debuted, Sohee seemed to be the member that stylists either didn’t really know what to do with, or intentionally gave him a hairstyle that wouldn’t suit everyone. While he’s definitely cute enough to pull off the messy look, not everyone was a fan of it!

His hair was often styled in an intentionally unkempt-looking way, which did add to his boyish and adorable charms, though it just wasn’t to everyone’s taste.

Then, when his hair grew out a bit more, his stylists continued to give Sohee a rather wild and almost anime-like look!

Then, more recently, Sohee’s poor hair suffered through a questionable bleaching that seemed to severely damage it.

Some fans claim that it even made his hair look “melted”.

It turns out that Sohee has incredibly thick hair, and fans have speculated that his stylists just haven’t really known what to do with hair that’s as thick as he has.

There’s even a plushie of Sohee that has thick, fluffy hair to mimic his own!

But with RIIZE’s most recent comeback, it seems like Sohee’s stylists have finally figured out a more “normal” hairstyle that works for the idol. For the group’s “Love 119” comeback, this was the style he was given for their recent performance at Inkigayo.

While he’s been a cutie for the entire time he’s been an idol, it’s refreshing to see Sohee styled in something a bit more “normal” and commonly used for boy group members!

While some fans are rejoicing over this change, though, it turns out that many have also been endeared by his numerous more “questionable” styles, or at least just think that he’s cute enough to make any hairstyle work!
