SBS Faces Backlash For Not Mentioning A Female Rookie Group At “Gayo Daejeon”
On December 25, various K-pop artists came together to perform at the SBS Gayo Daejeon.
While many fans enjoyed the various performances, including special units and collaborations, one fandom could not hide their frustration.
When introducing the rookie groups, fans noticed that they did not mention ILLIT.
When the MCs introduced the next performances, there was no ILLIT, only no ILLIT….

They also noticed that they put ILLIT’s video on private for 16 hours before putting it back to public.
They unprivated now…
So…. they did not delete it & private it.
Then, unprivate it the next day….This is making me more mad about this….

Fans felt this was unnecessary and demanded an explanation from SBS.
Meanwhile, an ILLIT member received backlash online for her cover of an SM song at Gayo Daejeon.
