Screenwriter “Loses It” After Both Leads Of His K-Drama Get Embroiled In Bullying Controversies
Kim Poong, a famous webtoon artist, broadcaster, and screenwriter, recently expressed his frustration after the rising actress Song Ha Yoon got embroiled in a school violence controversy.
Kim took to his Instagram on April 2, KST, and posted a cryptic story, saying, “I will go insane,” followed by a long, ironic expression of him laughing as if exhibiting the state of “going insane” he was already at.
I will go insane hahahahahahahaahahahahaahahaha…
— Kim Poong
Kim’s frustration is fueled by the K-drama History of Losers, which he penned and already wrapped filming in 2022.
Despite the filming process being completed, the drama got shelved afterward because the lead actor, Jo Byung Gyu, got entangled in a school violence controversy.
Jo recently started to clear up his name a little and even made his successful acting comeback with The Uncanny Counter 2. With these new developments, anticipation for History of Losers finally seeing the light of day was at an all-time high.
But these hopes were squashed once again when Song Ha Yoon, the show’s lead actress, was recently involved in similar accusations. With the actress admitting that she had to transfer schools due to her involvement in a school bullying incident, the show’s fate has yet again been sabotaged.
