Although only four episodes have aired, netizens have already fallen in love with the K-Drama and the connection between Ahn Bo Hyun and Shin Hye Sun.

Yet, a recent episode has netizens believing that it is surely going to be a success after it brought back one of the most-loved K-Drama tropes and its Subway advertisements.

Every K-Drama fan knows how popular brand advertising is, and Subway is one of the biggest examples of this. It seems like there was a time when every K-Drama had a scene in the iconic sandwich shop.

It seems to have been a while since netizens last saw a Subway scene, so it wasn’t surprising that they couldn’t hide their excitement when it suddenly made an appearance in See You in My 19th Life.

During the third episode, Ahn Bo Hyun’s character was spotted in the iconic store…

When the episode aired, netizens couldn’t get enough of the Subway product placement, with many explaining how long it has been since they had seen the iconic store in a K-Drama, with some even saying the last was It’s Okay Not to be Okay.

When a TikTok was posted about the sudden PPL (product placement), netizens joked how you knew a K-Drama was going to be top tier and successful if they had a cameo from the popular food chain.

After seeing how obsessed netizens are about seeing the return of Subway PPL, hopefully, they don’t have to wait long before it once again becomes a regular filming location in K-Dramas. It also seems to be something mainly seen in shows created by tvN.
