Hi! I just came on here because work has ended now. I heard that the CGV server crashed. Let my fans into the event!!!

— Song Geon Hee

However, the system for tickets received much criticism after the server crashed as soon as ticket sales opened. Right at 6 PM KST, fans flooded the CGV app and website, only to find that the server was down. Fans that were able to get to through were let down again as all seats were already sold out.

After checking out the situation, Song Geon Hee came on Bubble and expressed his frustration.

Ticket scrapers and macro are selling the tickets for 150,000 KRW ($~109.82 USD)? This isn’t it. The original ticket price is 1,000 KRW ($~0.73 USD), what are they talking about. I’m mad about this. Don’t buy tickets from them, ok? There will be another way. Please don’t buy from them.

— Song Geon Hee

An online post about a fan witnessing people buying tickets to the event from the offline kiosk gained much attention online.

hm

My work is at I’Park Mall, so after work, I went to the CGV kiosk as I was curious if I could buy tickets from here, too. Women were waiting in line until 6 PM, and I thought it was okay as just one person was in front of me. But as soon as ticket sales started, she printed two tickets and kept buying them. She had ten or more tickets even though it was limited to two tickets per person. She didn’t move, and the people she came with were at the other kiosks printing tickets, too. They kept buying them and finally left after it was sold out. What is going on?

Fans were furious as the way ticketing was handled and demanded they cancel tickets and use the raffle method instead.

They limited it to two tickets per CGV ID online, and they didn’t close kiosk ticketing. Are they crazy?

They really crossed the line with this one. This isn’t just a problem with the CGV server, it’s CGV as a whole that’s the problem. Why are they working like this? Cancel all tickets and do a raffle instead.

Shouldn’t they look at the CCTV and cancel tickets bought by them?

I’m a CVG RVIP and have been going to stage greetings for six years…the server crashed as soon as I entered and the sit didn’t work from 5:30 to 6:50. This is the first time this has happened…didn’t know there was this kind of situation…

CGV later posted an announcement online regarding tickets.
