Seungri Reportedly Planning On Joining The Entertainment Business Again
Former BIGBANG member Seungri is reportedly looking into new business ventures in China.
According to an article from MyDaily, an entertainment industry insider revealed that Seungri left Korea to pursue business ventures in China. Previously, the former idol was criticized after being spotted at a club in China, though his reasons for being there were unknown at the time.
The insider claimed that Seungri hasn’t discussed any solid plans, but he is still interested in the entertainment industry and is exploring various business opportunities. They added that Seungri has “no plans of being active in Korea ” but plans to work in the entertainment business as it is what he knows.
He has no plans to be active in Korea. He is aware of the public’s critical gaze and opinion, so he does not intend to resume activities as before. However, he is planning to work in the entertainment business, which he is most familiar with, and is expected to make the most of his network.

Previously, Seungri was implicated in the Burning Sun scandal and sentenced on a number of charges, including arranging sex trafficking, illicit gambling, and several other charges. He served one year and six months in prison before being released.
