SEVENTEEN Celebrate Their 4th Year Anniversary By Donating To ChildFund Korea
SEVENTEEN have released so much content that it’s hard to believe that they are only four years old with the tremendous success they have had!
Since their debut with “Adore U” on May 29, 2015, they have established themselves as one of the most successful groups in South Korea, shining not only with their music and talent but with their heartwarming personalities and great chemistry.
SEVENTEEN is known for being full of kind-hearted and thoughtful members who are always thinking of CARATs and other people.
CARATs have been hugely inspired by the compassionate and amiable reputation that SEVENTEEN has.
Throughout the past four years, CARATs have made hundreds of generous donations on behalf of “SEVENTEEN”. To mark Woozi‘s birthday in 2017, CARATs donated ₩3 million KRW to victims of the Pohang Earthquake.
To mark their 4th year anniversary, SEVENTEEN has pledged to donate to ChildFund Korea, an organization that seeks to alleviate child poverty.
Just as SEVENTEEN has thirteen members who have had the opportunity to debut together, SEVENTEEN committed to sponsor thirteen children living in poverty to move to a safer home.
The money will not only cover the cost of moving to a new home but will also encompass living expenses
멤버들의 그림과 손글씨로 완성한 현판도 전달할 예정입니다♥ pic.twitter.com/7ABSeeB6fg

While many fans donate to charitable causes on behalf of their bias groups, SEVENTEEN did a slight twist.
They donated the money to ChildFund Korea on behalf of “CARATs” as a sign of their gratitude to their fans.
CARATs have been greatly touched by this gesture and for the inspiring compassion that SEVENTEEN has displayed.
Carats: do a lot of donations and charity works under Seventeen’s name
Seventeen: sponsored and donated to 13 children under Carats’ name.
Seventeen and Carats are neck to neck in displaying love and support to each other. 💕

We expect nothing less from a group that has consistently displayed how kind-hearted they are to other people for the past four years.
Hopefully, this will bring attention to and help alleviate the problems some South Korean children face.
