SEVENTEEN's Hoshi Proves You Don’t Need To "Man Up" KATSEYE’s "Touch" Dance To Slay It

KATSEYE is making waves in the pop scene with their recent singles — “Debut” and “Touch” — both of which have gone viral, especially on TikTok.

The “Touch” dance challenge, in particular, has taken over the platform, with both Western stars and K-Pop idols joining in.

However, as with anything popular, it hasn’t escaped controversy.

One of the more talked-about moments came when TXT’s Yeonjun took part in the “Touch” challenge. While some fans loved seeing him support HYBE’s rising girl group, others pointed out that he altered the dance by adding a different style to the original choreography, making it look less like the feminine moves that the song is known for.

This sparked a conversation about how the choreography for the challenge seems to have a separate set of less feminine moves for boy group stars who cover it. Many male idols who have joined the “Touch” challenge have done this version of the dance, adding a more “masculine” flair.
