SEVENTEEN Impresses Netizens With Live Encore Stage Vocals For "Super" On "M Countdown"

On May 4, SEVENTEEN took home their second (of now three) wins for their latest promoted title track, “Super”, on M Countdown!

This win marked the 56th (of now 57 since they also earned a win on May 5 on Music Bank) award for the K-Pop group, ranking them at 11th for K-Pop artists with the most music show wins in history.

It was also an important anniversary for SEVENTEEN, as they won their very first music show award with “Pretty U” exactly 7 years ago on May 4, 2016!

As is common with music show wins, SEVENTEEN put on an encore performance of “Super” after receiving their award on M Countdown. With live vocals and no backing track, the members proved that they aren’t one of the most successful K-Pop groups of the modern era for no reason — they sounded phenomenal!

Given that “Super” has such an intense and energetic choreography (which is incredible to watch!), it was nice to be able to hear the members’ voices in a more casual setting as well. From their strongest vocalists to their rappers, every member was able to show their vocal prowess during this encore (apart from Seungkwan, who is still on semi-hiatus at this time).

The video was shared on an online forum, where netizens praised the members’ impressive abilities.
