SEVENTEEN’s Jun Opens His Own Personal Instagram Account
Carats, rejoice! SEVENTEEN‘s Jun has become the latest member to open his own Instagram account, and he’s already treating us to handsome visuals.
Jun revealed his new account on August 30 through SEVENTEEN’s official Twitter account, opting for the username @junhui_moon. Born in Shenzhen, China, Jun’s birth name is Wen Jun Hui; in Korean, however, the character for “Wen” (文) is written as “Moon.”
For his first post on the platform, Jun treated Carats to two gorgeous photos.
Both were taken earlier this month at SEVENTEEN’s fifth fan meeting, SEVENTEEN in Caratland.
Jun captioned the photos with a simple, “Hi” followed by a moon emoji, likely to signify his Korean surname.
He also chose a very handsome selfie as his profile picture.
Naturally, as soon as Jun joined the platform, his members were there to give him a warm welcome. DK was the first to comment with, “Our Moong Joong Hui“—SEVENTEEN’s cutesy nickname for Jun. S.Coups followed soon after, commenting, “Welcome, our Jjun,” while THE8 dropped a flame emoji.
Within an hour of posting his first upload, Jun had already racked up over 150,000 followers. Over on Twitter, he reached the “K-Pop Trending” list too.
Jun is now the 12th of SEVENTEEN’s 13 members to join Instagram. THE8 opened his account in February 2018 and currently has 3.5 million followers.
