SEVENTEEN Confirmed For MTV Special Event Alongside The Black Eyed Peas, Ken Jeong, And More

Here’s everything we know about SEVENTEEN’s appearance so far.

To bring support to the Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders community (AAPI), The See Us Unite for Change worldwide special event is bringing together a number of huge stars!

The See Us Unite for Change global event is part of The Asian American Foundation‘s (TAAF) See Us Unite cultural campaign, a multi-platform effort headed by TAAF and its network of partners. As the hate crimes against APPI individuals continue to increase, TAAF and its union of partners strive to bring more support to the APPI community.

With Ken Jeong as the host, the broadcast will also have appearances from several major celebrities such as Henry GoldingOlivia Munn, the Black Eyed PeasAlan Kim, Steven Yeun, Mike Shinoda, and Sesame Street‘s ElmoThe See Us Unite for Change event will also have stars Daniel Dae Kim, Cheryl Burke, Chloe Bennet, Michelle Kwan, Jeremy Lin, Lisa Ling, Tim Chantarangsu, and James Hong as additional presenters!

As for the broadcast’s special performances, the See Us Unite for Change event will feature performances by artists such as the wildly popular K-Pop group SEVENTEEN! Along with SEVENTEEN, amazing artists such as Jhene Aiko, Saweetie, Chloe Flower, Black Eyed Peas, StingFar East Movement, and Mike Shinodaiann dior, and UPSAHL are also scheduled to perform!

Actor Daniel Dae Kim, who is also a Co-Chair of the TAAF Advisory Councilexpressed the importance of the campaign and why we must come together for change.

Despite these difficult times for our community, the formation of TAAF and their bold work on the See Us Unite campaign represent the best of what can emerge when we share a collective resolve for change. They’re both great signs for our future.

The event will also look at the history of Asian Americans and their contributions, including tributes from prominent Asian Americans as well as people striving to make a difference.

The special event is set to air on May 21 at 8 PM ET across MTV Entertainment‘s portfolio brands, Facebook Watch, BET, and Nickelodeon.
