SEVENTEEN’s S.Coups Uploads “Cryptic” Weverse Post Amidst Fans’ Backlash Against HYBE
This article is part of our coverage of HYBE vs. ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin. You can read more and view the entire timeline here.
The ongoing rift between HYBE and ADOR’s CEO Min Hee Jin has now expanded into an organization-wide conflict, as employees on both sides have also taken their respective stances.
After the NewJeans members submitted a petition to the court showing support for CEO Min, many other ADOR employees and famous NewJeans’ staff members also did the same for Min’s trial.
List Of ADOR Workers Who Submitted Petitions Go Viral, Including NewJeans’
In response, HYBE’s popular staff members and producers also filed petitions against Min Hee Jin, showing support for HYBE’s cause in their court case for Min’s dismissal. Apart from BTS’s key staff members like producer Pdogg and performance director Son Sung Deuk, the petitions against Min also included names from other subsidiaries under HYBE. This included Pledis Entertainment’s founder, Han Sung Soo.
Han’s involvement in this conflict inevitably tied SEVENTEEN’s name to it as well, as multiple media outlets mentioned the group’s name while reporting on this new petition. This, in turn, has angered Carats (SEVENTEEN’s fanbase), as they feel that HYBE is using SEVENTEEN’s reputation for their own benefit. Fans even started a hashtag rebuking Han and Bang Si Hyuk for this, and it caught momentum pretty soon.
Pledis is Seventeen's biggest flaw. No wonder coups openly criticize them.

Wtf??? Why is he trying to insert himself in sth that (thankfully) has nothing to do with him and dragging the boys' name into it? Is it that hard to just give us a peaceful anniversary?#한성수_방시혁이랑_손잡고_한강가pic.twitter.com/55TSK3UfJr https://t.co/WMVIdZLc8N
