While the comment had nothing to do with the video, it has since garnered over 1.2K “Likes” for recalling the time Seungkwan saved the Original Poster (OP) from school bullying.

The OP explained that he and Seungkwan had not been the closest of friends…

I went to elementary school with Seungkwan. We weren’t the closest, but we were friends. Once we moved on to middle school, an all-boys one, some kids started acting out to be considered the cool. It was during our first year there when I was bullied by ‘Kid A’ at the school snack shop. I was buying munchies when A, whom I had never met before, approached me and asked me to lend him 100 won. I had already splurged on snacks, so I didn’t have any money left. When I told A that, A grabbed me by my collar and cursed me out before heading back to his homeroom. I got scared that A might beat me up, but I was also upset that I had been treated like that. So I was in a terrible mood when Seungkwan found me and started talking to me. He asked me what was wrong. When I explained what had happened, Seungkwan held my hand and urged me to come with him to get an apology from A. At first, I told Seungkwan that I didn’t want an apology because I was scared of A. But Seungkwan insisted that if I let the incident pass, A will do it again. Seungkwan convinced me that I should let A know what he did was wrong and that confronting him would make him never treat me wrong again.

…but that when he was in trouble, Seungkwan was on his side.

When Seungkwan and I went to A’s homeroom, and A came out to confront us, I completely blanked and couldn’t say anything. On my behalf, Seungkwan stood up to A and asked him if he really asked me for money and cursed me out. Seungkwan was so logical when he spoke. That was the first time I realized that an argument could be won without voices being raised and curse words being used. A ended up apologizing to me and never, ever messed with me again. This was back when BIGBANG was popular. Seungkwan told everyone that he wanted to become a K-Pop idol. Some of the other immature kids mocked him for that dream. But Seungkwan was so confident about his dream. I was deeply impressed by that, and I wondered if he would be able to make his dream come true. So whenever I come across videos like this, it fascinates me and fills me with so much respect for him.

Seungkwan used to blow in my face asking me to check if his breath smelled bad. That used to annoy me so much. Jokes aside, though, Seungkwan was such a righteous kid. Now that I think about it, he hasn’t changed at all. He was born a different kind. I don’t know if he remembers me, but I remember him as my shiny breath-check friend. I’m sure his fans know, but he is such a good person. I didn’t mean to make this such a long comment, but I didn’t want to sound too serious or make this sound rude. Haha. Thanks for reading!

The comment made CARATs proud of Seungkwan for having been a courageous person ever since he was little!
