SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan Reveals How His Friendship With NCT’s ’98 Liner Jungwoo First Started
SEVENTEEN‘s Seungkwan and NCT‘s Jungwoo had fans freaking out when they were spotted hanging out together recently! Seungkwan is a well-known social butterfly so it shouldn’t be a surprise that he’s become close with fellow ’98 liner, Jungwoo.
During a recent livestream, Seungkwan talked about his friendship with Jungwoo and how they first met!
Even though their friendship wasn’t well known until just recently, they actually met half a year ago thanks to SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu!
That’s when Jungwoo came. He, uh- He was invited by Mingyu hyung, I think. He showed up by himself though, that’s some courage! He came alone and said hello to everyone. So we played futsal together. He was good at it! He’s good… Sometimes we played on the same team, sometimes he was on the opposite team.

Fans speculate that Jungwoo and Mingyu became close after they and SF9‘s Rowoon did a photoshoot together for Dispatch — all the way back in 2018!
Seungkwan and Jungwoo are totally friendship goals; Seungkwan said in his livestream that he monitored Jungwoo and STRAY KIDS’ Lee Know during their MCing activities and texted them afterward!

K-Pop hairstylist Park Naeju even mentioned in a recent YouTube video that Jungwoo went to Bit&Boot salon early before his schedule since he had plans with Seungkwan that evening!
Hairstylist Naeju said sometimes ago Jungwoo came in early to the salon before his schedule cuz he had dinner plans with Seungkwan.
