Amid HYBE’s controversy (especially the recent internal document leak), netizens praised SEVENTEEN Seungkwan‘s letter which spoke of the industry and seemingly addressed the recent actions of the company, including a letter from NMIXX‘s Haewon.

Yet, after these posts, netizens noticed that the members have been quiet on social media (aside from the photos from their recent US shows).

While some fans thought the silence might be just the members enjoying their time in America, many thought that HYBE might have put them on a “social media” ban following their recent posts.

Netizens also shared instances where the members would definitely have been active but have been silent, whether it was on Instagram or Weverse.

In particular, one of the only posts from the members’ personal accounts came from DK, who shared photos from his recent Allure photoshoot.
