3rd Generation Idol Becomes First Chinese To Endorse This Prestigious Korean Brand

SEVENTEEN’s The8 was recently announced as the latest ambassador for KOLON Sports.

The news comes as a surprise to many as the brand previously only used Korean ambassadors.

Some of its past ambassadors include actor Ahn Hyo Seop…

…and more recently, ENHYPEN.

The brand has previously only utlilized actors as models, but has been hiring fresher faces and idols recently in an attempt to rebrand themselves as a more modern one. The brand is also expanding its marketing efforts in China, hence the selection of The8 is a smart one.

The8 allegedly shot the photos on the mountains of Sichuan in the chilly weather.

The photographer for Minghao’s KOLON photoshoot shared some insights. They did the shoot on-site in the snowy mountains of Sichuan, spending several days in the high altitudes.
