Over the last few months, members of SEVENTEEN have announced their military enlistments, starting with Jeonghan. Most recently, it was announced that Wonwoo would enlist in public service beginning on April 3.

Since then, fans have waited for more updates on the other members, and recently got them from the idols themselves.

On March 20 and 21, SEVENTEEN held their annual SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND fan meeting. The event featured all active members, including Jun, who has been working in China.

The group entertained fans throughout the show and, near the end, gave meaningful remarks, which unexpectedly included talk of enlistment.

Hoshi revealed that he and Woozi would be making their enlistments in the second half of the year, saying they would be able to spend SEVENTEEN’s 10th anniversary together.

Woozi and I have received our military enlistment schedules. We’re planning to enlist in the second half of the year, so we’ll be able to spend the 10th anniversary together and make some fun memories before we go. […] I’ve never said this before, but I’m really grateful to S.Coups for keeping all 13 of us together since we were young. […] Maybe because it’s time to enlist, every performance feels even more precious. It’s not like we’re disappearing—we’ll continue to work hard even after we return. People say nothing lasts forever, but SEVENTEEN is going to take on that challenge. We’ll need your support to do it.

— Hoshi

The words not only left fans emotional, but S.Coups as well, who teared up during the speech.

SEVENTEEN’s 10th anniversary will happen on May 16, 2015, meaning their enlistments will begin sometime after.
