She continued to explain how she feels these days as a woman in her 30’s with a career in the entertainment industry. She said, “Now that I’m in my 30’s, the path seemed to have narrowed down, and I’m seeing what I need to throw out. I started to feel grateful and calm after I let go of some of that greed.”
Shin Min Ah was then asked if she ever had any regrets about her career. Shin Min Ah expressed her longing for the things she missed out on when she was growing up. She said, “I came into the industry when I was so young, so I kind of wish I experienced the teenage school years as other people have. I think about having had to interact with adults who were much older than I was when I began my career, and I think I always felt like I’m lacking something.”
Shin Min Ah came back to the big screens in her new movie, DIVA, which was released today, September 23. It is currently the number 1 movie in theaters in South Korea.
In a previous interview, Shin Min Ah has stated the movie DIVA was valuable to her as a woman in the entertainment industry.
“It was valuable to me because it’s a scenario involving a story of women.”
