At his grown age making jokes at someone else's expense and laughing at other people's fatphobic jokes towards someone else is actually insane but sure whatever let's turn a blind eye again π https://t.co/iF8zOXbz7x

On the other hand, some felt that Key’s comment was not meant to be fatphobic, but came from a Na Rae’s own reflections on her weight loss journey. Fans even brought up how in the same episode Key praised her for wearing a bikini.

in the same ep kibum told narae that she should be proud when she wore red bikini becuz it gave ppl who wear those sizes hope as it encourages ppl to buy more medium and larges from the shop. People don't even at least watch the whole ep but so fast on taking literal translation+ https://t.co/zv2gGITKPb

Exactly.
Not to mention he's been a very supportive friend, taking her to therapy sessions etc. Yet accounts I've never even seen before suddenly want to call him out w/o context. Then they double down when the truth comes out because nobody can ever admit they were mistaken. https://t.co/8JRuTYJK0u

It is easy to see the perspective from both sides, especially considering that Na Rae and Key are friends. However, weight is a sensitive topic and even comments made between friends can be harmful.
