According to the Korea Professional Football Federation, SHINee’s Minho was appointed as the professional soccer K-League ambassador. Minho stated, “I am very honored to be appointed as the K-League ambassador. I will do my best to promote the K-League and give strength to many people.”
They also posted a photo on their official Twitter to announce the news to fans.

As a representative of the K-League, he will attend various official events hosted by the federation and play a role in promoting the K-League through personal activities. The appointment ceremony was held on July 14 at the Sunggok Museum of Art in Jongno-gu, Seoul. Hwang Sun Hong, Choi Yong Soo, Cho Won Hee, and Bae Seong Jae were also appointed as ambassadors
