SHINee's Onew, DAY6's Wonpil, GOT7's Youngjae and Lovelyz's Kei Cast In The Musical "The Sun's Song"

SHINee‘s Onew, DAY6‘s Wonpil, GOT7‘s Youngjae, and Lovelyz‘s Kei have been cast in the musical The Sun’s Song.

The musical announced that Onew, Youngjae, and Wonpil would be cast as the male lead Ha Ram. Alongside singer Kang Hye In and actress Lee Ah Jin, Kei will play the lead female role Hae Na.

The Sun’s Song is based on a 1993 Hong Kong film. It follows the story of Hae Na and Ha Ram, who meet each other and sing a song of the sun. In the musical, Ha Ram and Hae Na represent the sun and the moon.

It has also been adapted into a Japanese novel, drama, and film. It was also recently adapted into a Hollywood film called Midnight Sun.

Alongside the casting, the production also released its first teaser poster. With the simple design, the surfboard and guitar represent the two leads and their desire in the story to enjoy their lives.
